Ranbir Kapoor in Wake Up Sid

Wake up Sid! Is a Hindi movie released in 2009. It is written by Niranjan Iyengar and directed by Ayan Mukherji. The theme of the movie is to make a wakeup call to the present century youth to be serious in their lives as they are losing their goal and distract from the right path which become the reason of them being merely nothing. Ranbir Kapoor is doing the leading role of Sid! (Sidarath Mehra).

Sid is spending his life rather better to say wasting his life in throwing money hard earned by his father. He is a careless youth who has no ambition in his life. Life for him is just a plaything and his careless attitude towards life makes him unworthy in the eyes of Aisha (KonKona Sen Sharma). However film is not intended to show evil it is just about attitude towards life as life is not a bed of rose. This Sidarth experiences in two ways;

• Failing his graduation.


• Seeing Aishra struggling hard to survive.

He has shown a carefree child who knows that his dad is earning to fulfil his requirement and he has no obligations in return. The film is authentic and there are scenes of sexy hot neighbor, Sid increased attachment with Aisha and their intimidating scenes and Sid’s attitude towards his parents all are so life relating that we really got involve and compares characters present in our life.

Ranbir has done his role with full command as it is quite natural to him because of the same age of the movie lad. In fact this movie gives him confidence of acting and improves his style much more. His appearance and personality is a plus edge with which he ascends to the height of appreciation. He can really claim this movie as the real step in film industry and deserves to be the best lead character.
