Anil Kapoor in Slumdog Millionaire

Slumdog Millionaire is the most awards winning movie released in 2008. It is written by Simon Beautoy adapted fron the novel of Vikas Swarup’s Q & A . An important information about the movie is that its direction is completely foreigners by British directors Danny Boyle & Loveleen Tandan (Indian co-director) and writer the film is having purity of Indian. It is better to say that British’s make the film with Indian vision and succeeded. There is reason why they succeeds as the script is research based and writer himself got the true knowledge of Indian beggars by personally visiting them. Cut the long story short, Slumdog Millionaire is an excellent attempt by the British cinema.

Slumdog Millionaire is a Quiz show ‘Who wants to become a Millionaire?’ The show is open to all so the hero Jamal who is a Slumdog comes to participate in the show and selected for the finale of 20 millions. Anil Kapoor is the host and the character suits him so much that we really admire his English accent, his modern look. The show proceeds and Prem Kapoor gets uncomfortable as how a slumdog is answering to all his questions while he never seen the school. Being an honest host and witty person when Prem thinks that it is not good to give such a big amount to a cheat fellow he calls for investigation on the last moments. Here Jamal (Dev Patel) replaces the screen with Prem.



During investigation we come to know that this young boy has an excellent memory and despite of not having chance to get education he is intelligent enough to learn all the things through real life experience. The authenticity of the story proves as not all people have same intelligence level his brother Salim distract to a wrong path after suffering cruelties of life. He is the reason that Jamal loses his love two times when he was so near to his love. His flashbacks enacted on the screen in are convincing and prove that ‘Sincerity and keen observations are the key source to success.’

Because he was sincere in his love so he finds it at last we see how he asks for lifeline help from his brother Salim cell phone which is now in the hands of his lover Latika (Freida Pinto) and his keen observations helps him to win 20 millions even Prem Kapoor host of the quiz show feed wrong answer to him but he depends upon his own memory. Dev Patel, Freida Pinto, Ashutosh Lobo Gajiwala are the excellent choices for the slumdogs and Anil Kapoor as a host proves credible.

Anil Kapoor is the well known, experienced actor of Bollywood industry who has a big community of fans. He is an first-rate performer and back on the screen once again with the improved talent. His pitch, style, humor, wit and commentator style to rouse the curiosity of the audience is so good that we really compelled to see whether Jamal will be able to answer next question. We find him in his best award winning performance no doubt.
