Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani is the Hindi movie released in 2009. It is written and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The film is a comedy romance in which comedy is dominant theme while all of we know that these Hindi movies consider romance as the main ingredient of story like sex is the main ingredient of Hollywood film.
Ranbir Kapoor is Premshanker aka PREM is the happy boy who is not interested in studies falls in love with charming Jenny who is in love with a politician’s son. From there formula be happy and let live others happily starts melting when supporter of this himself become the prey of one-sided love. Prem is the head of ‘Happy Club’ preaching that life is nothing but a happy moment on earth. Keeping comedy as the baseline Prem beautifully adopts a serious look and decided to bring Jenny lover home to make her marriage possible. However writer is really making the story ghazab after Prem AJAB PREM, as Rahul Katrina’s boyfriend) deceives him on his politician father’s command.
Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Prem is really looking absurd fellow who lacks in education and is jobless while boys of his age are normally settled still he desired to be loved one by an educated, lovely, charming, but foster child. She is so pretty that Prem can’t help stop loving her and when he hears that she is in love with someone else his heart ache. Ranbir is performing well yet the film is not hit partly because story line wavers in the second half and partly artificiality of scenes and characters that is more prominent than story. Ranbir has no scope to improve his performance once the movie with strong story and direction will be there Ranbir surely shines. Till now he is a rough diamond needs attention of a jeweler.
