Yuva is an Indian film released in 2004. It is written and directed by Mani Ratnam. The movie has subtitle rather it is translated as well in English YOUTH to be understood easily. The target of this film is the youth of present century. This movie is an incentive for the youth to be the part of Politics and play positive role in building the Nation. Om Puri is the embodiment of corrupt politician ruling the state of India. The story is divided into three parts but merge into one another at a point when all three starts politics.

Lallan Singh (Abhishek Bachchan) is the rotten youth in the hands of Om Puri and is sent to jail while his wife Sashi Biswas (Rani Mukharji) to whom he loves amorously and being an illiterate person his marital relation becomes the prey of his wrath has left the city after her husband not returns for so many days. Micheal Mukerji is an ambitious youth wants fair politics in University and raises slogan for honesty. Esha Deol plays the role of her lover as Radhika. Arjun (Vivek Oberoi) want to go to abroad for bright future but convince by Michal that their nation is in demand of its youth and he decided to be the part of politics. Mira (Kareena Kapoor) is his fresh love and both have attraction and feel compatibility level high. All the tree plots are beautifully interwoven yet separated by personal lives of them in which they are planning to have a peaceful happy life.
Like LOC: Kargil, YUVA is also male dominant and all the three females are only a source of solace and emotional relief and they have to bear their ultimate destiny associated with their loved ones actions. Kareena has no other role than two other females yet she feels accomplished well groom and ready to do excellent performance.
