DEV is a Hindi film released in 2004. It is written by Nida Fazli and directed by Goving Nihalani. The story title is the name of one of the character in the film. It aims to focus on the decisions, thoughts and vision of Dev. He is so accomplished a person that we really got impressed by him like the other characters in the movie. He is the cliché stand for the ethics, norm and values.
Dev Pratap Singh (Amitabh Bachchan) ia the Joint Commissioner Police an obligated, sanctimonious personnel. The story is devoid of any love story and full of repulsive scenes of bombing, riots, target killing gang rape, killing of women and children. All this makes us tense and we want salvation which is in the movie is Farhaan. Kareena Kapoor is one of the characters become the victim to the ruthless attitude of Muslims. Dev asks her to be ready to vow in the court and tell the court truth. Kareena’s eyes tell the whole story of fears and losses she has to suffer. Kareena looks so pure and so chasteful and virgin after being a sexual assault that our heart cries on her chastity. She becomes the voice of those girls and women that are becoming the prey of verocious act of men do not belong to any specific family.
