Kareena Kapoor In Mujhse Dosti Karoge

Mujhsey Dosti Karoge is a Hindi movie released in 2002. It is written by Aditya Chupra and directed by Kunal Kohli while sponsored by Yash Chopra. If we translate the title into English, it will become ‘Will you be my friend?’ and surely you will feel as you are listening ‘Will you Marry Me?’ The film shows contradiction between friendship and love. Friendship is ridiculously changes into love triangle and typical Bollywood fillm starts. Film is the replica of Bollywood and Hollywood movies. Surely, some of the resemblances would be coming in your mind.

 

Mujhsey Dosti Karoge is the story about friendship of three friends Raj Khanna (Hirthik Roshan), Pooja Sahani (Rani Mukherji) and Tina Kapoor (Kareena Kapoor) which turns into love triangle. Friends are apart in childhood due to circumstances and vow to be friend forever. Tina forgets the promise and become busy in other activities while Poojan remains attach through emails. Raj and Pooja develop liking for each other in this period of time. But then story takes a twist when Raj decides to spend his holidays in India with his childhood friends. Bothe friends Pooja and Tina get excited and plane to exchange their names. Raj confuses to identify the girl with whom he has email relation.

Tina likes Raj and falls in love with him and situation becomes complicated when Raj knows that Tina is not the email girl. Now Pooja does not want to hurt Tina and not ready to accept the love of Raj. Raj gets infuriated and places the condition of her getting married on the same date and Pooja panically agreed. But then Tina knows all the truth and resolves the situation by making both the loving heart together.

Kareen’s role as a friend is quite impressive as she win the appraisal of audience by uniting loving hearts. Although film is totally a mixture of different movies and has nothing original to attract the audience yet the characters were there to show a difference. All of them play their roles beautifully and make this film worth seeing. Only the second half become too long to bear but that was cruicial as wedding preparations and conditions of characters have to show for making real life impact. Kareena excitement on getting married with her love and her passion to sacrifice love for friend is appreciatable.
