Anil Kapoor in MUSAFIR

Musafir is an Indian film released in 2004. It is written by Milap Zaveri and director by Sanjay Gupta. Musafir is an abstract art which is difficult to comprehend by an ordinary mind. Frankly speaking, it is difficult to comprehend by a sensible mind even. The writer narrates the story in a very complicated manner bringing unexpected convolutions and whirls in the lives of all the characters in the film. It is completely different from the conventional Bollywood movies. But it is not better for the success of movie. There should be some logic and story to understand by common folk as cinema goers demand fun and merriments not mind annoyer.

The story is about Lucky (Anil Kapoor) who has a bad name because of his wrong doings. Now he wants to get rid of this life as he needs peace of mind and a family. But luck is not with Lucky and instead of making decision to leave this evil world he is drowning deep into the quagmire. Lara (Koena Mitra) his first love with which he dreamt to settle down his life deceive him, Billa (Sunjay Dutt) impose orphanage on him by killing his partners and further brings doom upon him for the recovery of his money from Goa where Whacko Jacko (Shakti Kapoor) parceling the deal but later Inspector Tiger (Aditya Pancholi) suspects him and he tries to disappear from the scene and that is the time when his eyes falls upon Sam (Sameera Reddy). Sam and Lukka are the next trial for him that pretends more complications as Lukka accidental death makes Sam and Lucky as the murderer.

Out of the frying pan into the fire, lucky entangles in new disaster one after another and once again Billa bump into him. Now he has his money but nature cannot be changed. He is an evil incarnate and he cannot see Lucky or even Tiger to let them without hurting them. To satisfy his nature he kill Tiger in a deal but by chance or at last luck comes for Lucky to give him one more chance, Billa spares Lucky’s life together with Sam. His dream comes true after a nightmare. Now he has money, girl and a smooth way to start a new life. The end of the story is fictional and takes the story away from real life. This loses the impact of authenticity after a long authentic journey of two hours.

Anil kapoor is playing the role of an unlucky guy ironically bears the name of Lucky. Fate plays with him from the very start and there seems no end of his misfortune and adversaries. He is a genuine artist and plays the role with utmost perfection. A man’s life sets when he gets married and his search for a domestic girl is authenticated in the form of Sam though her dressing and incest scenes deny Lucky’s desired girl. Milap zaveri succeeds in sketching Lucky’s role perfectly but rest all the characters are incomplete and show dearth for culmination.

Shahrukh Khan in Ra-One

Ra-One[1] is Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming Hindi movie. Shahrukh Khan has the value of quoin in Ra-One[2]. It should be clear at the very outset that Shahrukh is not only playing the leading male role in this movie rather he is present in every aspect of this movie. The movie is set to release on 26th October 2011[3]. He lends a hand to David Banullo in its play script. It is Shahrukh’s dream to produce a sci-fi movie of International level. There are many sci-fi movies treated by other producers in Bollywood cinema but they are unable to reserve a place in audience memory and all are basically capturing the audience belongs to early age. All these are childish films but this time Shahrukh is claiming that Ra-One is movie for children but not childish.

The story is about Jeevan who is a software engineer and crazy to become a superhero who could do everything to save humanity. Ra-One is, basically, a video game ‘Random Access / Version One’ designed by Jeevan. He is himself in the game with the fictional name G-One, a superhero sets out to save mankind from the terror activities of Ra-One. Parallel to this main plot there is sub plot in which Shahrukh is acting as a protective father of his child together they fought against Ra-One to destroy him. This sub plot translate the main plot into humanize way that Life on earth is becoming dangerous and there should be some super power (high determination) to save it. This is the basic theme behind the Ra-One.

Shahrukh is not only a super hero in this film but also shows some romance with his super power nature. Although he has transformed into G-One for the sake of humanity yet his heart is working and during an expedition he falls in love with a beautiful girl (Kareena Kapoor). There are some intimate scenes between the two and of course songs to nourish and flourish love between them. The role of Kareena Kapoor does the work of equalizer between the tussle of Ra-One and G-One.

The important information about this upcoming movie is that Shahrukh is the producer of this film as well. As a producer he is busy day and night to make this film hit on the Box Office. He hires an experienced Hollywood crew for motion-picture photography to make this film on international level. Stunt shows and daring feats by Shahrukh excite the audience who love Shahrukh as a hero already. Let’s see what would be the result acting as fictional superhero? Would he be able to become real famous in this role? Shahrukh’s expectation level is high and his hard work is visible in promos and trailers.

Shahrukh Khan introduces English music by the hip hop star Akon[4] and this will surely increases the market value of this film. Shahrukh Khan is sensible enough to consider the commercial aspects of film. He invited Akon to India for his film promo in the press release. Akon has sung the title track of this movie which matches with the theme of film surely will do the job of interpreting the theme of film. It is in the news that television broadcasting rights of the movie are sold of more than 40 crore[5] Indian Rupess that is highest in the history of Bollywood.

Kareena Kapoor in RA ONE

RA-1 is an Indian film and is expected to release in 26th October 2011. It is written by David Banullo and also Shahrukh Khan lends him a hand in its screenplay as he is the production in-charge of this film as well. The starrings is Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal. The storyline is sci-fi and totally deviation from the traditional Bollywood film making. There are experiments done in horror, detective, romance, war and terror theme but sci-fi theme is not touched at the quality level. There are films like JADU, and ROBOT but they are partially sci-fi and the expected audience is of kids. But RA-1 is totally different genre belongs to purely sci-fi and seeing promos and trailers of this movie reminds us MATRIX. Matrix is based on the computer software prune to virus while RA-1 is from Random Access Memory to free for making own choices.

RA-1 is based on Random Access Version 1.0. In his press conference in India, where he invited Akon as well, Shahrukh Khan asserted that he is going to test a totally different genre after becoming the king of romance and fight. His expectations are high and he is terribly busy in completing the shoot. It will be exciting to see Shahrukh in his new look and style. Story is not told by Shahrukh Khan as it is necessary to keep the audience waiting for the blockbuster. He just comments that it will be totally new theme on the screen of Bollywood cinema. The slogan of the movie is given as ‘Superheroes wear mask, I (Shahrukh) wear heart. Film is earthly even after having science fiction theme.

Recording of the film is in process. There are daring stunt shows by G-1 (Shahrukh) to save the humanity which is in trouble on earth. To become G-1 is the childhood dream of Shahrukh Khan to become a superhero one day to save humanity. We find people from different walks of life business man (Gino Piccaiano), construction worker (James Helder), Dude in airport (Walles Hamonde), footballer Baz Salam and basic element love (Kareena Kapoor).

Kareena Kapoor is giving warm feelings in between tough war of G-1 and RA-1. She becomes the reason to arouse the feeling of importance of human being. This totally earthly figure is full of love, care, passion and life as per the scenes visible in trailers. Kareena Kapoor is great in demonstrating expressions and this is the only job assigns to her. Hopefully she will act meeting the expectation level of Shahrukh Khan and ultimately audience.  Then there is RA-1 (Arjun Rampal) who is playing as a villain against humanity. After fulfilling the far-fetched dream of Shahrukh to become G-1, he wants him to destroy world but what happens next? We can know once the film will release.

Another important feature of the film is its music. The title track has recorded by AKON king of hip hop music. The soundtrack matches with theme of the film and makes the mind ready for experiencing new things. Other soundtracks are also interpreting the story somewhat. ‘Aisa kaisa’ and ‘kuch bhi karoon’ shows G-1 characteristics and then ‘lal laal dil ka haal’ seems as sort of G-1 transformation and ‘RA-1’ is the title soundtrack describes the random access phenomenon.

This cinematography is an extra ordinary feature of RA-1. This will surely boast the claiming of Shahrukh khan about the film as of International level. The picturesque London provides demanded environment and will help to make solid grounds for its success.

Hopes are there that this film sets a new trend in Bollywood cinema and writers will come up with new stories to invent the ways to save humanity. Directors will show variations and innovation and 3D effects will surely boost the impact of film making in science fiction genre.

Sonam Kapoor in Thank You

Sonam Kapoor is doing the leading role as Simran in Thank You among the wives of three friends, business partners and skirt chasers at heart. Her debut Sawarya presents her as a young pretty demsil who could be the dream of any heart. Being daughter of legendary hero, Anil Kapoor, every eye is on her expecting something different something extra ordinarily. However, she is still unable to prove herself as a true heir of Anil Kapoor. It does not mean she is not eligible to become a good actor. Experience makes perfect and she is also improving after working in hand full of movies.

Thank You is an Indian movie released one month before (April 20011). It is written and directed by Anees Bazmi. Thank You belongs to the comedy genre like ‘Welcome’ and ‘No Entry’. It is also an interesting fact that father (Anil Kapoor) has main role in ‘No Entry’ and daughter (Sonam Kapoor) in Thank You. The difference between No Entry and Thank You is that in first men were prominent but Thank You belongs to female. To support the film with sure success Akshey Kumar and Vidya Balan are introduced. Vidya Balan is the past of Akshey Kumar and he is compensating his mistake by heling other ladies to bring their husband back to him.

Despite the greatest expectation to have a nonstop comedy Thank You fails badly. Although it was a good strategy of Anees Bazmi to use Akshay kumar and Vadiya Balan as a supporting characters besides the main roles of Sonam Kapoor and Bobby Deol. Sonam is in her premature stage so innocence and attraction is in her to the utmost but there is time to blossom this flower. The rest of the star cast is also very impressive as Irrfan Khan has excellent timing and expressions for comedy and then there is Sunil Shetty previously known as serious actor but good to see this star as comedian.

Yogi (Sunil Shetty), Vikram (Irrfan Khan) and Raj Malhotra (Bobby Deol) are happily married to Maya (Celina Jaitley), Shivani (Rimi Sen) and Sanjana Malhotra (Sonam Kapoor) respectively. Thankfully to the dim-witted wives all three friends spend time in skirt chasing. However, one of the friend’s wives Sanjana suspects her husband Raj and hires a Tec Kishen (Akshay Kumar) to dig out the truth. However Tec falls for Sanjana and a series of comedy entailed by this Cox.

Empty vessel makes the most noise and so is Thank You. It is full of noise all the characters are seen louder than expected in a quality comedy. Only Irrfan Khan and Sunil Shetty are acceptable in their respective roles rest of the characters are just busy in hip hop, appear whacky and involve in voluble conversation. The story has no solid plot and is therefore fails to involve the viewers to make them stick to their seats. At time it becomes difficult for them to decide whether to wait for the end or to get bore.

Kareena Kapoor in Love You MAA

Love You MAA! Subtitled as ‘We are Family’ is an Indian film released in 2010. It is written by Niranjan Iyengar and directed by Sidarth Malhotra. This film is a dedication to the Mother. Mother is a beautiful gift of God on earth. A family is incomplete without this essential ingredient. A mother can act like a father and mother at a time but it is very difficult for a father to fulfill the responsibilities of a mother. Here another aspect of this relation is the step mother. Society as well as children looks towards the step mother as an enemy. In this film, Niranjan Iyengar beautifully tells that mother is mother and once a woman becomes mother or takes the responsibility of being a mother she dedicates her life for her family.

Maya (Kajol) is the mother of three beautiful children Ankush (Nominath Ginsberg), Aaliya (Aachal Munjal) and Anjali (Diya Sonecha). Maya leaves her husband Aman (Arjun Rampal) as he is in love with Shreya Arora (Kareena Kapoor) and wants to marry her. Shreya is a dress designer and knows that Aman is a married man and father of three children. After making decision to marry with Shreya, he introduces her with his family where he has to bear severe rejection. His children are not ready to accept Shreya. Meanwhile some incidents like dropping the cake accidentally on Anjali Birthday and Anjali being missing while in care of Shreya makes Maya more hostile towards her.

The twist comes in the story of course Shreya has to fit somewhere in the family and the place of mother is ideal and it happens. Maya is diagnosed as patient of cervices cancer and on the last stage. She has a very short life and being a mother she is worried about her children instead. She thinks to arrange a suitable step mother before she dies. During her quarrel with Shreya she zonks out and admits in hospital for immediate treatment. But now she has few days and Shreya is now taking care of her family leaving her priorities aside. This makes realize to Maya that being a mother Shreya would be a good choice for her kids. Before her death she gives her children in custody of Shreya as a mother. We see that ten years later Shreya arranges Aliya’s marriage and transfers her bracelet given to her by Maya.

Kareena Kapoor is playing a role of step mother in this film. She is a versatile actress she proves by playing beautifully this role. We find an original spark in her acting. She adopts the role as it demands. While acting against the experienced heroine Kajol she justifies her part and beautifully interpret the relation of mother. As a lover we find her passionate in so many movies but as a mother it is her first film. Kajol who already proves herself as mother in Kuch Kuch Hota hai Kareena simply does the best job here.

Anil Kapoor in Hindi Movie No Entry

No Entry is an Indian film released in 2005. It is written and directed by Anees Bazmee. The story is about the no entry of seriousness. It is a full time comedy show. Anees Bazmee has treated the subject well. Social taboos are presented in the film in such a way that nothing is displeased. There is sex, prevarication and amorous attempts on the part of three different guys. There is No Entry for sense and sensibility only a mad whirl of pleasure. Together with writer all the best star cast work out to give a mad mania to the people tired of routine life. Let behave like a broadminded person to appreciate the attempt made by this movie.

All the serious fears of men and women are presented in this film as a gag line. The film has three plot line narrates the miserable conditions of three men. The centre character is that of Anil Kapoor as Kishen who is running a news agency acting as a faithful husband of Lara Dutta (Kaajal) but she always suspects him as having extra marital affairs. Then there is Salman Khan as Prem having a faithful wife Esha Deol (Pooja) but the truth is that Prem is cheating full time his wife and love to have extra marital relations with many women. Fardeen as a Shekhar is a hopeless lover who has no one to love.

The story shows the hide-and-seek game of prem’s affairs and Kishen as freedom fighter to run away from the false suspicions of his wife. Kishen forbids Prem because he has a loving wife but Prem irritates. One day when he finds that Kishen is taking snaps of his date with the girl he decides to involves Kishen in such affair and hires Bobby (Bipasha Basu) to flirt with Kishen. In between two plots, third add when both of them find a young guy Shekhar aka Sunny (Fardeen Khan) committing suicide. He is looking for true love which is scarce in this world and one day he finds it in the form of Sanjana Sexana (Celina Jaitley).

No Entry is a cat n mouse chase like Tom and Jerry Cartoons. You cannot stop laughing till the last scene of the film. The story is well woven and replete with spicy and hot dialogues every time you spring from the chair and hold tight your belly to stop laughing or at least little bit control.

All the characters act their role very well and come up with the first class original acting. They prove the mastery in their field of acting. The dressing is somewhat sexy and bold but that is readily done to create an environment that arouses the feelings of sex, love and desire. Although every character does his best only females have less chance to show do real action. Males are dominant and among them Anil Kapoor stand tall as he adopt the role of a faithful husband very well and audience readily give him the margin to go for the step that gives birth The Paradise Lost by John Milton.

Al Pacino and Will Smith in Scent of a Woman

Scent of a woman’s story is based upon a blind, annoyed and miserable army man’s (retired Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade) last journey, in the end of which he plans to end his life. A last rendezvous with life’s luxuries, spending his savings before he departs this world. Fortunately, a young Baird school student is appointed by Frank’s daughter to accompany and take care of him for the weekend.

The beauty of this film is that its story is fairly simple and does not include many of the factors that make up an average 20th century Hollywood film. It does not contain many twists and climaxes, besides the fact that in the nearly end the Lieutenant is convinced by his young guardian to not take his own life. The two main characters who are truly quite diverse personalities in this film embark through a very amusing journey to become men who respect and value each other in the end. The main conflict in this film is the fight between ethics and immorality. An ethical dilemma faced by a young man becoming a adult, in the practical world. A world that does not reward principles and values instead ridicules and bullies people who take the path of honesty and integrity. As the narrative unfolds, Frank actions and his plans start to have an effect on Charles. Who is unintentionally involved in Franks plans while he has his own predicaments to look after. As the story, the dialogues and the characters of this film are very genuine and powerful. Such a script is rarely seen in the film world, as genuine as Scent of a woman, till a film named Pursuit of Happyness (starring Will Smith) came along. Films such as Scent of a woman inflict pathos in the harts of the viewer, as they are very realistic.  One would not be much surprised if this story was based on a true story. If a movie goer fancies films that are simple yet so powerful, because of the way it was made, the way a certain actor portrayed the character, the dialogues and all the factors that make up a good film, which after viewing you take a sigh and say that was a good film, then Scent of a woman is a must see.

Another reason for which this particular film is preferred is the acting and how the main character, retired Lieutenant Colonel Frank Slade, is so in depth and the way he develops and learns from his young guardian. Frank even helps his younger confidant out in the end by confronting the headmaster in the court and defending Charles’ integrity and loyalty, for not selling his friends out for a better future. Al Pacino delivers every scene in this film with such intensity that it allures the viewer to stay glued to the screen and not even miss one scene, with motif phrases like “Hoo-Haa!” The character of Frank is a complicated one, a character that inherits many complications. As he is blind, haunted by his past, a retired army man, perverted, vulgar, and offensive and moving at the same time. A character such as this would be very hard for any actor to conceive, but Al Pacino, being a character actor himself aced it and in my opinion that was the reason for this films success, as it was a strongly character based film. This film is to Al Pacino’s fans, what Pulp Fiction is to Quentin Tarentino’s fans or what Ace Ventura: Pet detective is to Jim Carrey’s fans. Therefore, one must watch Scent of a woman to admire the great acting abilities of one of the greatest Hollywood actors of all time’s best ever performance according to the Oscars and many of his fans.

Many of the films that are released of genres such as comedy, horror, action and so on, are films that are viewed and then forgotten. Indicating that these films are just so that the viewer is entertained for the screening time and then goes back home with nothing, no sense of achievement. Films that are close to our culture, close to our being and our neighbors, indulge us in them, such suspension of disbelief and expositions about the character we get attached to are rather different.  Such films can be viewed time after time, so that the film lover can appreciate them, feel what we felt when he saw them first; that first look, that first laugh or tear or any other emotion we felt during the screening. Scent of a woman is such a film, viewing after which, one goes back home with a thought. One example of this is the character building Frank Slade, who is portrayed as an average asshole of our society at start, but later on reveals to be a devastated soul who had principles and values at a time. That life had broken him down, and had made him the asshole he was now. However, he gains conscience and regrets his doings in the end of the story and helps Charles battle for the right and wins once, at least. Therefore, this film can be viewed for it is one of the best character building stories of all time. A media product that is not bound to time, a film like this only comes once in a blue moon. A timeless film any generations of any country can see and appreciate. With phrases and dialogues that spark such intense emotions from the viewer, every actors and screen play writers try to attain.

[gallery orderby="title"]

Scent of a woman is a classic for many reasons and should be viewed by every film student or admirer of any generation to experience what talented film making and this art is about.

Anil Kapoor in CHOCOLATE

Chocolate is an Indian film. It is written by Rohit Malhotra and directed by Vivek Agnihotri. Chocolate is the atrocious attempt on the part of Rohit Malhotra. Locations, outfits and cinematography in promos give the impression of a suspense thriller of Hollywood style. The reason was its similarity with ‘The Usual Suspect’ but cinema release brings all the expectations down. The story has many loopholes and although it is made on the flashback technique yet the commentary behind the incidents and events does not make good impression.

The story begins with the massive murder and boat set on fire that create a fear in the environment. The city is London and it seems that after America now London is the target of Al-Qaida. Two Suspects Sim (Tanushree Dutta) and Pipi (Irrfan Khan) are under the custody of London Police. A journalist Moonsoon Iyer (Sushma Reddy) brings this terror story on the scene with the help of her newspaper. Afterwards she investigates the case and on the demands of both suspects arranges a lawyer Advocate Krishen Pundit (Anil Kapoor). All the case is unwrapped during the flashbacks narrate by Sim and Pipi. Like a popular suspense thriller in the first half number of characters introduce to create confusion and is shown them committing crimes and murder. During second half incidents are chained into sequence to solve the mystery of opening terror attack scenes.

The story has all the elements of suspense and thrill but script is too weak to support. Third class dialogues and story written in segments makes the film falls flat. A film could possibly hit the box office if script would be strong and quality of the dialogues does not sacrifice. Let see one by one the minus points of the film.

-          Terror scenes shoot in a way it totally deviates from the methodology universally attached to Al-Qaida. It lacks planning and strategies shown by Al-Qaida in the history.

-          Image of London police is seen like Indian police. At the time of robbery they are foolishly surprised as how it is happened. The cell scene where reporter investigates is the poor directorially attempt.

-          Characterization is seen as the caricature of English actors. What is the need of copying anyone else leaving heresy aside? Artificiality, pompousness and loudness are visible in all the characters.

Looking at the characters, story is presented as a narration by Irrfan Khan and Tanushree Dutta (Sim and Pipi). Irrfan Khan comes up with solid character and leave good impression on viewer’s mind. He is the only character which has passing points. Sim on the other hand fails to come up with good performance. Her loud style and sexual appeal create abhorrence in the audience.

[gallery]

Anil Kapoor in the form of Advocate is total failure. He loses respect in the eye of audience while appearing without trousers depicting it as his habit. This scene was intended to show his sex hunger which is later used by Tanushree in the coming scenes to deviate his attention from the case. His way of investigation the case while representing London court reduces his esteem further. Arshad Warsi, Emraan Hashmi and Sunil Shetty fail to make impression. There is not much scope for them in the film and rest they waste because of their poor performance. Songs are average and some of them hit the box office before the film release. It is failed attempt on the part of Indian director and writer to compete with the Hollywood suspense thriller. Their system either police or security measures are foolproof or Indians mean act of depicting these things from the wrong end of telescope lower their own Image.

Karishma Kapoor in Merey Jeevan Saathi

Merey Jeevan Saathi is an Indian movie released in 2006. It is written and directed by Suneel Darshan. The story is based on an exhaustive theme of love triangle. However, now this has become so common in real life that the topic seems authentic and is square-built. Apparently a very loving husband has a patchy past or a seemingly faithful wife has a hidden relationship. Whatever the reasons these things really exist and one cannot deny the fact and same case is with Merey Jeevan Saathi. The theme of the film is solid we cannot reject it as an outdated movie.

The issue in this film is that yet no one is married in this love triangle only commitments are there even then the name is given as Jeevan Saathi. Still selection has to bear a court stamp or a legitimate paper to be signed as asserting the other person as Merey Jeevan Saathi. How a person could call her lover or his lover as merey jeevan saathi if he or she is not yet married to him / her. The object could be raised on the title of the movie. By seeing the title interpretations get wrong as the concept of a married life comes in mind while the movie circle round the matter who would be the real jeevan saathi of Vicky; Natasha or Anjali???

Vicky (Akshay Kumar) is an emergent rock star in the field of music. He loves Anjali (Amisha Patel) who has been his class fellow since his college life. Her emotional and physical support is with him to help him becoming a star. His musical career gets boom with the M.T. Music Company (Molani &Tolani) which further boost with the offer from US Company (Angel International Music). It is a planned offer to attract Vicky towards herself by the owner of the company who appears as a college fellow and in loves with Vicky from that time. Fate plays role here and Natasha fails to express her love at right time due to unfavorable circumstances. Now she finds her love and tries her best to win but it’s too late now to win. Vicky has selected Natasha as his life partner. Although in a weak moment he entangles in the bewitching beauty of Natasha and spends intimates moments with her which makes her believe that she could win him but in vain. In the morning typical remorse haunt him and he runs back to his original love (Anjali).

The twist becomes a tornado as Natasha is not ready to spare her love in any case. This tornado tries to destroy Anjali to remove the hindrance from her way and which could ultimately destroy Vicky. But that tornado was due to depression and this depression engulfs Natasha as she commits suicide.

Instead of being authentic story, movie fails to attract the audience. The reason is poor story and characterization. Every character goes to the maximum level of its role which spoils the balance. For example Akshay loves Amisha but after having sex relation with Karishma Kapoor becomes so meek fellow that lose his place to stand and so audience rejects him as a true lover. Natasha first showing the amorous feeling to do anything for her love leaves the fight so abruptly that audience unable to justify her act. And Amisha the goddess of love goes to the extent to forgive the wrongful conduct of her lover which should be not so. It is like a child playing with a balloon full of air is left and let out the air. Now the child will not play with the balloon. In the movie characters are like this balloon without air and have not attraction.

Karishma Kapoor fails to leave a good impression after the gap of three years. The role does not suit her. The film could be better if the ladies play reverse roles. Karishma Kapoor sexy dressing and enticing make up to wear the age of a young girl are total trash. She is experienced actress she should know what should be the demand of her age and style but here she becomes the victim of false illusions.

Anil Kapoor in My Wife Murder

My Wife’s Murder is an Indian film released in 2005. It is written by Atul Sabharwal and directed by Jijy Philip. The title of the film is English and the story has also bear resemblance with the English movies. The genre of the movie is thriller and suspense. Surely the inspiration has been taken from Western culture. The Western director mixes the tint of West in the pure Indian drama. The story is about a husband who filed the case of his wife’s murder. Investigation proceeds and expressions of the husband his miseries, worries and tensions that are somehow predictable and expected are shown. It is very clear at the very outset that husband kills accidentally his wife but what happens next is the real issue.

My Wife’s Murder is based on the very common social issue of many married couple. There are fears of treachery, distraction from family matters, and wife’s suspicions on husband. Here we find a suspicious wife Sheela R. Patwardhan (Suchitra Karishnamoorthi) who discredits her husband Ravi Patwardhan (Anil Kapoor) and always torture him about unseeing, and without any proof of having illegal relationship with his secretary Reena Wadhwa (Nandana Sen). The husband finds no solace at home. Instead he remains tense that if he reached home early or late his wife would never spare him. She becomes so obsess with the only thought that nothing else comes in her mind. She ignores her responsibilities towards husband and only wants him to confess his amorous feelings for the secretary.

It was a normal day and as usual when Ravi reaches home Sheela’s inquiry starts and Ravi in fit of anger raises his hand which arise anger in Sheela as well. The dispute increases and Ravi slap makes Sheela falls on the back of bed. Her head stuck and she dies on the spot leaving Ravi in astonishment. This was an accidental murder but Ravi has no logic to explain in front of police. It is shame for him to tell the police that his wife suspecting him about illegitimate relation with his secretary while there is nothing like this in real.

Thrill starts when Ravi mind starts working as what to do now. He wants to hide Sheela’s dead body before maid or children get back home. Story has many loopholes as putting the corpse in carton and not packing it with any thread or tape. Anyone could easily get peep into carton. It is getting dark when Ravi drags the carton to the car and children and maid are not reached home yet. These deficiencies lack to create thrill to the extent which it should be otherwise.

Suspense starts when Inspector Tejpal Randhava (Boman Irani) investigates the murder. At every questions viewers focus on Ravi facial expression as what would be his reply. What excuse would he give now? There are so many suspense scenes when questions like what? When? Where? How? Why? These are the questions haunted Ravi as well as viewers watching the movie in the cinema. No doubt Boman Irani is perfect in his role. Nandana Sen seems average and fails to give original expressions.

Credit goes to writer as well as director who narrate and depicts the story so well that in spite of so many loopholes film succeeds to get attention. Credit also goes to Anil Kapoor as he adopts the character so well that viewers have a high regard for his acting. The role of a distressed husband, who is fed up with his wife’s baseless qualms, performed by Anil Kapoor is very credible. Versatility is the essence of Anil Kapoor filmy career. He is the original actor who always comes up with solid grounds to take the movie to the success level.

Karishma Kapoor in BAAZ

‘Baaz: A Bird in Danger’ is a Hindi film released in 2003. It is written by Shyam Goel and directed by Tinnu Verma. This is a suspense story in which hunter (Baaz) is hidden and it is not known when and where he hunts the prey (Bird). The subtitle of the movie ‘A Bird in Danger’ tells that bird is going to become a prey of this Baaz if not rescued as many other has already killed by it. However, story fails to create curiosity in the viewers to know about the Baaz.

Neha Chopra (Karishma Kapoor) is an interior designer who is hired by the Mayor of Nainital Jai Singh Dabral (Jackie Sharof) to decorate his house. He gives her his residency to feel at home. Neha settles there and finds a friend Raj Singh (Dino Morea) who lives in her neighbor. She is invited on a birthday party where Inspector Harshvardan (Sunil Shetty) behaves frantically. On the same night, winner of beauty contest, Aditi Govitrikar is killed. Harshvardan suspects Raj in front of Neha and Neha gets afraid after finding the killer identity things at Raj’s home. Raj who loves Neha does his best to win Neha confidence and succeeds after saving the life of Neha from Baaz who is in fact inspector himself.

All the characters in this film perform like puppets that have no expressions and sentiments. Every passion seems artificial and every act is seen as if someone is pushing to do forcefully. Nothing is happening like a real life incident. All the drama, suspense and even love is created and depicted by the director. Whole cast is seen out of form. The movie seems an individual drama and the story takes the place of sub plot. Nothing is in harmony in the story and different pieces fail to act as a whole. All the pieces of a puzzle remain are unmatchable in the movie. There is one piece missing and that is harmony.

Jackie Sharof as a mayor has nothing to do instead he is busy in his personal life and wanted to see everything beautiful around him. Dino Morea as Raj is a free soul seeking for love and has no aim in life. Sunil Shetty as an inspector fails to show any responsible attitude against serial killer and enjoying parties and having fun in psycho way. All the three men though clearly seem as one of them is Baaz yet their life style and non professional behavior create disgust in audience. A lover should have positive qualities so that a girl could have proud in him. Dino Morea give the impression of an unemployed guy, Sunil Shetty is seem psyche patient and Jackie Sharof shows flirty nature.

Among female cast Karishma Kapoor is performing as interior designer Neha. She falls in love with Raj and ignores her decorating assignment. She represents herself as coquettish thing. It seems she is comparing herself with the winner of beauty contest Aditi Govitrikar.

Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor in Milenge Milenge

Milenge Milenge is an Indian film released in 2010.It is written by Sheraz Ahmed and directed by Satish Kaushik. Milenge Milenge is an echo produces by fate that the two hearts are destine to be together and they will meet. It is a cheap shot by Sheraz Ahmed to make a love story by accumulating different pieces of must have ingredients from all English and Indian movies. Fate is playing main role over here and humans are just a play thing. It seems ridiculous that in the age of fastest communication people rely on fate to bring them together.

Milenge Milenge is a love story totally dependent on fate. The problem with the film is that it lacks the modernism and depicts life in Stone Age when human beings had no facilities to make a contact with a far off friend. The story could be acceptable in 80s but sorry to say in this age no one has time to wait for the destiny to plan their life. Life has become celluloid and mobiles are there to stay connect 24 hours. Why Sheraz Ahmed ignores this fact that the guy like Immy would prefer to go for a mobile and convinces his love about his feelings. Searching 50 Rupees and astrology book on which address is written seemed a joke. Love has become the game of 2 – 3 phone calls and phone companies has offered low rates packages to make hour long call to convince the girlfriend about true love and she is also mentally prepared for this attempt from the boyfriend.

Modernism is seen in makeup, dresses, and hairstyle and everything look glamorous. Seeing the current makeup style to learn new trends in the film is a good chance. The film is more like a fashion catalog instead of love story. Compromise can be made on Tarot Card reading part as people love to know about future happening in their lives.

Kareena Kapoor in Milenge Milenge is playing the main role as Priya Malhotra who believes in fate. She is seeking for a ideal life partner to be proud of. Her style is update and with bold make up she tries hard to be compatible with young Shahid kapoor like her previous hit movies. She makes bold attempt to bring the viewers under the spell of her physical appearance and successful somewhat. The dialogue delivery is impressive and experience is seen in her style. She adopts a role perfectly like sole interest. Artificiality has become second to her nature and now audience is familiar with it.

Shahid Kapoor in Milenge Milenge is acting opposite to Kareena as Amit Kapoor aka Immy. He is a true bad guy who has all the evils incorporate in him. I don’t mean to the worst side still smoking, telling a lie and drinking are the evil things a girlfriend doesn’t want in her lover. Later, he assumed the role of a Right Man ideal of any girl to win the heart of pretty Priya but fate plays with both heart and keeps them readily apart. Shahid Kapoor is well fit in the frame of his character.

Maxim Russia May 2011

Maxim no doubt is an international well known and popular men interest magazine, and it’s one of those magazines which is not even fully exposed and open like play boy magazines and neither it is fully closed and reserved like other non interest boring magazines. Maxim has its own class and that’s why it is preferred because it keeps a balanced line between decency and vulgarity. As being a famous magazine with famous models and celebrities, I believe and I am sure of one thing that there is no competition to the Russian models and their class. Yes Hollywood is a big industry and Maxim USA always comes up with famous American celebrities who are loved by millions of fans, but Russia entertainment industry as compare to Hollywood is not that big but still their models are always on the top when it comes to Maxim Russia.

Models that appear on Maxim Russia’s front page and inside the magazines are totally different by looks and by their styles. They just have no comparison and every time when the new issue is published people can’t say that the previous model was much better or the new model is much better, it’s just that every model has its own class and people just start a new month with new model and they just love the new model and they discuss the new model but not with comparison, because they also love the previous models. In the issue of May 2011 Maxim introduced a famous and professional Russian singer and acrobat Ekaterina Guseva. Milla Jovovich in Resident Evil 2 (Apocalypse)

This film is basically about evils in residence with total destruction everywhere. It’s an horror and action movie but in some ways it seems as a science fiction and this movie managed to have you on the edge of your seat, you can realize the real villain of the film as it was not predictable and it makes you think a lot which is a good thing. The first part of this movie was ok but this part just blew it out of the water. This movie is better and more entertaining then other horror movies like house of the dead or dawn of the dead in which u just see people shouting and screaming. The visuals were awesome and it is well directed by Alexander Witt. The acting was not bad at all and it supported the storyline very well and it got a lot of action in it. This movie answers most of the questions that we were left with in the first part of resident evil. This movie is all about the house of haunted hill and ghosts of zombies. Milla Jovovich Alice and Sienna Guillory Jill did a wonderful job in this movie, especially Milla who has shown an excellence performance and their stunts were pretty hot. Oded Fehr Carlos also gave them a good support in this movie, he was a military man. The main character of story is Alice who wakes up from a terrible sleep to find her worst fears realized, the bloodthirsty Undead, which she and the annihilated squad of elite military fought to destroy in the first part of resident evil, have been unleashed on the city that surrounds the secret facility of the Umbrella Corporation. The whole Raccoon city was affected by a poisonous virus which made everyone zombies and Alice was bio-genetically enhanced with new strengths, senses and powers as she was affected by a mega dose of the T virus. The hopes were on Raccoon City’s Dr Charles Ashford, one of the leading scientists for the Umbrella Corporation, who can help Alice and the others escape the city safely and he would only help them if Alice find his daughter Angie Ashford who hides in fear and got separated from her father during the incident. Alice, Jill and Carlos fight their way through an army of Undead to save his daughter. And in the end they finally do save his daughter but Alice get infected more badly.

Milla Jovovich is acting as Alice and she is a brilliant actor, she is smart and sexy and these kind of roles suits her the most, she is the protagonist in every part of resident evil, from part 1 to 4 and I am looking forward to the part 5 because it will make the people more crazy, because this is only zombie movie which clearly make sense and which has done an amazing characterization, and specially Milla jovovich has pulled the trigger by working in the resident evil series by her unbelievable stunts and of course she has gain the attention of her fan by her beautiful sharp looks. She is the perfect model and her figure is amazingly stunning. The look of her eyes can make anyone go crazy because her eyes are just like a cat which can shine anywhere. Apart from that she is also wearing all the sexy outfits which are tight and they look cool on her according to her role and even the colors that she is wearing symbolize evil and sex, such as black , red and other dark colors.

The CGI Zombies weren’t really that creepy but the acting was good and the make up was done very well. It got brilliant sound effects which can just go with your heart beats. The camera angle, explosions, and 3D animations everything just made this film amazing. The storyline was perfect and even the screenplay, it was well written by Paul W.S. Anderson. It was nicely continued from the first part of it. Overall this is a good movie.
