Kareena Kapoor in Talaash

Talaash is a Hindi film released in 2003. It is written by Robin Bhatt and directed by Suneel Darshan. The story has a subtitle “The hunt begins”. This shows that hunt is not started at the very outset rather hero Arjun has to grow up to ponder over his life as where he stands why his mother is in Asylum as he (Akshay Kumar) seen the murder of his father in his childhood and abduction of his sister but in his early child age he can’t do anything. He started his hunt after he gets maturity.
Arjun during his talaash for the sister comes across two women Kamini (Pooja Batra) and Tina (Kareena Kapoor) which proves for him ladders to reach to the gang who were the killers of his father. Kabir Bedi (Chotey Pathan), Raj Babbar (Rajoo), Shakti Kapoor (Upadhyay) and Dalip Tahil (D.K. Sharma) are the members of that gang whom Arjun is hunting. As Arjun does not know the identities of killers because after a decade the faces have changed as he himself is now a young vigilant boy we really feel that he is hunting for something rigorously. He is passionate about his mission to bring back her sister so that her mother would find a solace.

Kareena Kapoor appears on the scene nearly at the mid of movie and from there taking a lead role as opposite to Akshay Kumar. Both seem a perfect match but first audience mind get confuse as Tina could be the sister of Arjun because she was the first young lady appears in the story during talaash. But later we find that she is the daughter of one of the members of gang. She performs her role well as the demand was to be bold and exposed from which world she has relation. The environment she sees around her from early age she adopts her fully. Her intimate scenes with Akshay arouse the emotions of audience as the film is thought out tensed line where audience needs a break. Kareens do the job well yet the story is not impressive to hot the box office.
