Kareena Kapoor Ajnabee

AJNABEE

Kareena Kapoor AjnabeeAjnabee is an Indian Movie released in 2001. It is forgery of an English film ‘Consenting Adults’ and therefore is failed to make an impression. It is true that media has developed a mixed culture but we expect art to show the regional and social values. Adopting the ajnabee culture we do not like to represent that as our own. It happens with this movie.

Raj Malhotra (Bobby Deol) and Priya Malhotra (Kareena Kapoor) make a love marriage and happens to visit Switzerland. There they come across Vikram Bajaj (Akshay Kumar) and Sonia Bajaj (Bipasha Basu in her debut movie). Both families come closer after some interactions. The proposal From Vikram side about wife swaping was shocking on a dinner talk. This creates a breach among them but later patch up after Vikram’s long pleads. Now they are close friend and on Vikram’s birthday party Raj silently act upon Vikrams suggestion of wife swaping and trapped in Sonia Bajaj murder.

Kareena Kapoor AjnabeeAll the characters perform well according to the demand of script but film does not get enough score on box office. It is because story depicts an alien culture and takes us away from the real life to drama. However it can say that fulfilling the demands of drama characters go well from the process of acting. Both male characters are impressive and show manliness. While women are also portraying real characters busy in household chores and desperate for outing. Priya (Kareena) uses his body charms well to arouse the feelings of Vikram while housewifely manners of Sonia (Bapasha) attract Raj towards her. A natural opposite attraction is shown in the characters.

Kareena Kapoor is successfully on her road to success not by sheer charms of her beauty but also acting spirit increase her numbers. She adopts the character in its real sense and do ful justice to it.
