Aishwarya Rai in Dil Ka Rishta

Dil Ka Rishta is A Hindi movie release in 2003. It is written by Vrinda Rai and directed by Naresh Malhotra. Dil Ka Rishta as name tells that this is the story of hearts relationship. Once you are tied in heart relation to a person, it becomes nearly impossible to rethink or withdraw your attachment. It is a true relation and there comes no boundaries in its way and no incentives and comparison get approval and avarice had not remained a tool to cash a person in love already.

 

 

Reading the theme of this film you can get the idea as what type of film it would be. Yes, you are right! Dil Ka Rishta has been established since the beginning of the film between two mediocre lovers Raj (Priyanshu) Tia (Aishwarya). They have dreams about their marriage and happy life. A rich businessman Jai (Arjun Rampal) mesmerized by the beauty of Tia and blindly falls in love with her. After gathering credential about Tia he wants to propose her. Jai is a good-hearted, talented youth who is the real pride of his family. He was confident that Tia would readily accept his proposal and imagine himself with Tia in his castle in the air. This castle of love sudden collapses and Jai gets hurt as his love vaporize before being expressed. To his utter dismay, Tia is already in love.

The story progresses with the marriage of Tia and Raj and Jai’s dejection towards life and hope. Jai indulges himself in drinking and takes shelter in the lap of oblivion. One such night Jai was driving car while drinking got crash with another car. He at once compose himself and even in the state of drinking gives help to the injured when he came to know that the car was of his lover as he caught the sight of fainted Tia in the smashed car.

As love theme is not new one and all the characters were in their required form so the movie shows some spark to see it once again. Arjun Rampal and Aishwarya give their best appearance as well as performance. However story is not as impressive as it seems in the start of the movie. The expectations of audience are not fulfilled as the 2nd half of the movie has lose its grip and fails to leave lasting impression on the minds of audience. Songs are not according to the demand as just for the sake of songs they were there. Story has loopholes as after accident Tia lose memory and falls in love with Jai. Tia’s mother even knows that Jai is responsible for her daughter misery starts living in his house. Jai’s unnatural reaction as to not responses towards his love. And the last scene is the conclusive source of disappointment. Surely that is not a story that a passion of love deserve. There should be to some extent drama and emotions seen which are lacking in the movie to make it a worthy one. However, as the Miss World is present to hypnotize the audience in her beauty to sit.
