Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai

As a rising hit star Aishwarya Rai is taking a prominent place among her rivals. With the release of Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai, Aishwarya comes up with a totally new theme. She is trying her talent nearly in all type of characters and proves herself a versatile actress. HDAPH touches a very sensitive social issue regarding women. Here director Satish Kaushik take a risk of testing the temperament of audience as if they will approve the social scenario h is going to present. At the end we see that if not approving the conclusion in practical life we go in favor of the director. This is due to the beautiful performance of all the characters in the movie.

Hamara Dil Aapke Paas HaiHDAPH written by Jaindera Jain and directed by Satish is a Bollywood Boxoffice striker as Aishwarya in the role of Preeti Virat is nominated for the Filmfare Best Actress Award. Issue raises in this film is quite sensitive as director is dared to appeal the favors of society by presenting Preeti (Aishwarya) as a raped fellow who refuses to withdraw her witness against the wrong doer. Avinash (Anil Kapoor) who know a little but only good of Preeti takes her to his home after her family throw her away on the mercy of society’s abhorrence.

Hamara Dil Aapke Paas HaiContrary to Preeti rape scenario as a woman side is presented a man side in which Avinash father has an illicit relation with a woman and also having illegal two children. Being afraid of social boycott, he is not ready to accept his wrong action and here Avinash takes stand to provide the children their right and also to Preeti. Providing shelter to socially rejected person Avinash again go against the social norms.

Hamara Dil Aapke Paas HaiThe story goes extremely serious and somewhat apprehensive and requiem as showing the distraught condition of Preeti therefore sugar-coated with comedy. This is the so called popular way of presenting the sensitive issues to make it known to the people what negative affects they have on the victims. Anupam Kher, Johny Lever and Jaspal Bhatti come up with a spirit to support the issue by bringing the sensitivity of the situation to support in an indirect manner while performing directly by the leading roles. It is true that if comedy would not be there spectators would surely go against the topic and condemn preeti harshly for her distress condition as she herself is responsible for the sufferings.

Charming presence of Khushi (Sonali Bendre) amidst the tense situation is like a cool breeze at least for Avinash who is coping with the social norms and trying to compensate his father’s mistake. At times especially second half of movie is a knock off. It is so because scenes are unnecessarily extend and useless comedy present to bubble up the real theme. For the sake of making the issue light extra songs are filmed which if not present would not harm the movie instead their presence become an ultimate reason of making the film a boredom. However, it can be said that Avinas and Preeti performs so well that real cause of the movie does not get any harm and even nominated for the Best Actress Award.
