IMAX is a set of standard and formats which are maintained and organized under the banner of a Canadian company IMAX Corporation. Since March 2012, many big Hollywood movies are launching under IMAX and about more than 642 IMAX Theaters are made in 52 countries.
Now they are contracting with Yash Raj Production and making IMAX theaters in India for the first time. Right now 14 IMAX theaters are open or contracted to open in India.
Dhoom 3 which is a thriller movie and also is the first ever India movie which will be displayed in IMAX theaters also along with 2D and 3D formats.
