The super star of Bollywood film industry is appointed as Goodwill Ambassador for UNAIDS program. This is bold step of UN to use the fame of Aish for fighting the curse of HIV and AIDS in the world and specially India.
Michel Sidibé (Executive Director of UNAIDS Program) announced this in press conference in New York and he said that I hope the Indian actress turns her energies to fight the spread of HIV and AIDS in the world specially India.
Aishwarya Rai said that she is very happy to accept this challenge and she will help the UN to fight against this curse. She said that baby should be born free of HIV and children should not bear the burden of mistakes of father and mother.
