Delhi Belly Banned In Pakistan

Pakistan censor board has not established Aamir Khan’s Delhi Belly production. So the cinema exhibitors and hall owners are forced to postpone plans to publish a movie of the week. Atrium Cinema, Cineplex leaders in Karachi, published on his Facebook page yesterday, has just announced the film distributors Delhi Belly of the Central Council of film censorship, Islamabad, has not passed the film for public exhibition. So, the film is released in cinemas in Pakistan.

Pakistani exhibitors were very eager to release the film starring Imran Khan, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Poorna Jagannathan, Vir Das and Shenaz Treasurywala on Friday. Reason for the ban was not found, because the government does not censor comment was available.

Last year, the government of Pakistan had refused to censor the film Tere Bin Laden, with singer Ali Zafar, from the exhibition. The film was not allowed to release because of concerns that the description of the slain al-Qaida could launch terrorist attacks in the cinema.
