Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor in Milenge Milenge

Milenge Milenge is an Indian film released in 2010.It is written by Sheraz Ahmed and directed by Satish Kaushik. Milenge Milenge is an echo produces by fate that the two hearts are destine to be together and they will meet. It is a cheap shot by Sheraz Ahmed to make a love story by accumulating different pieces of must have ingredients from all English and Indian movies. Fate is playing main role over here and humans are just a play thing. It seems ridiculous that in the age of fastest communication people rely on fate to bring them together.

Milenge Milenge is a love story totally dependent on fate. The problem with the film is that it lacks the modernism and depicts life in Stone Age when human beings had no facilities to make a contact with a far off friend. The story could be acceptable in 80s but sorry to say in this age no one has time to wait for the destiny to plan their life. Life has become celluloid and mobiles are there to stay connect 24 hours. Why Sheraz Ahmed ignores this fact that the guy like Immy would prefer to go for a mobile and convinces his love about his feelings. Searching 50 Rupees and astrology book on which address is written seemed a joke. Love has become the game of 2 – 3 phone calls and phone companies has offered low rates packages to make hour long call to convince the girlfriend about true love and she is also mentally prepared for this attempt from the boyfriend.

Modernism is seen in makeup, dresses, and hairstyle and everything look glamorous. Seeing the current makeup style to learn new trends in the film is a good chance. The film is more like a fashion catalog instead of love story. Compromise can be made on Tarot Card reading part as people love to know about future happening in their lives.

Kareena Kapoor in Milenge Milenge is playing the main role as Priya Malhotra who believes in fate. She is seeking for a ideal life partner to be proud of. Her style is update and with bold make up she tries hard to be compatible with young Shahid kapoor like her previous hit movies. She makes bold attempt to bring the viewers under the spell of her physical appearance and successful somewhat. The dialogue delivery is impressive and experience is seen in her style. She adopts a role perfectly like sole interest. Artificiality has become second to her nature and now audience is familiar with it.

Shahid Kapoor in Milenge Milenge is acting opposite to Kareena as Amit Kapoor aka Immy. He is a true bad guy who has all the evils incorporate in him. I don’t mean to the worst side still smoking, telling a lie and drinking are the evil things a girlfriend doesn’t want in her lover. Later, he assumed the role of a Right Man ideal of any girl to win the heart of pretty Priya but fate plays with both heart and keeps them readily apart. Shahid Kapoor is well fit in the frame of his character.
