Kareena Kapoor in Main Prem Ki Diwani Hun

Main Prem Ki Diwani Hun is Hindi film released in 2003. It is written and directed by Sooraj R. Bharjatya. Kareena kapoor is playing the role of Diwani named Sanjana. And Prem are twoPrem Kishen Mathur (Hrithik Roshan) and Prem Kumar (Abhishek Bachchan) in the movie. However, later appears in the mid of the second half and till then we believe that Sanjana is Diwani of Prem Kishen Mathur. In spite of the fact that cast is favourite of audience as all the three leading characters are learned and experienced them and surely we were expecting something hilarious from them in the form of love yet we despair to the maximum extent because film is nothing but a cartoon for teenagers.

Here in this movie writer and director Sooraj R. Bharjatya is clear cut playing with not only the emotions os Sanjana but also the expectations of audience. He creates disgust with his dialogues, acting of the characters as Hrithik and Kareena are the real caricatures which makes us mad as why are they doing this. Presence of Raja (Parrot) and Johny (dog) is ridiculous or director should admit that this is a cartoonic movie. It seems he is making fun of audience that they will remain ignorant about the animated animals. The name of the pet dog as Johny is the open insult of the famous comedian Johny is abusive.

Kareena is doing nothing just highlighting her contour and try to give an imitated / coquettish character. I am till now convinced that while making this film Sooraj was completely intended to make a computerized film in which he moves the characters like puppet. Oh Yes, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hun is a PUPPET movie which is enacted by human in modern get Up. Kareena’s acting we can appreciate as a puppet because in this way we really admits her talent of adopting non living character that’s why when she mourns for her love we don’t feel sympathy. Definitely film is flop because of Kareena and Hrithik non serious behavior the only point of salvation is Abhiskeh Bachchan and Pankaj Kapoor.
