Aishwarya Rai in Aa Ab Laut Chalen

Aa Ab Laut Chalen: Aa Ab Laut Chalen is the Hindi movie released on 22nd of January 1997. Aishwarya Rai has been stepping ahead among her rivals with an adequate pace. She has not been in hurry. It seems she left it on director and producer to get maximum out of her talent. She was playing lento. Aa Ab Laut Chalen is a social movie in which focus is on the hero while heroine is accompanied in a best manner.

This second movie of Aishwarya Rai is also written by Rumi Jaffrey, however, screenplay is written by Sachin Bhaumick. The effects are clear as different writers have written the movie so film is seen in patchwork. While seeing the movie we find out that scenes are not in harmony. However, film is like because of its relativity with the real life. This film is presenting two most important social issues which are still present in our society. Unemployment and patriotism are the two hot issues that make the film appealing and win the favor of audience.

The story is about a young educated man Rohan (Akshaye Khanna) who is failed to get a reasonable job. He led an orphanage life with his mother (Moushmi) and grandfather (AAlok Nath). To cope with the miseries of life and for the sake of supporting his family he determined to go abroad. In United State, Iqbal (Jaspal Bhatti) and Sardar (Kader Khan) escorted him and increased in him the emotions of patriotism. A coquettish fellow named Love line (Suman) seemed him a better choice as she is rich and also love him. But then he hound Pooja (Aishwarya) and fell in love with her. A mind spinning truth about Rohan’s father revealed that he is alive. All the different pieces seems forcefully put together. However Rohan’s and Aish’s emotional acting do the work of keeping the audience stick to their seats till the end.

The musical part, tradition of Bollywood movie, is comparatively bigger. At times, it seems romantic movie rather than patriotic. The issue of unemployment loose importance. There are seven total songs in this movie out of which six are love songs and only two are focusing the theme of movie in which one is the title song and second seems more as comedy than patriotic. However, as the soundtracks are given by Sameer evergreen and sing by Alka, Udit, Sonu are the names enough to make it a hit no matter as a musical drama.
